Hello World!

printf("hello world")

Two sacred words I've chosen as the opening for this blog—or whatever this is.

And I'm sure every programmer, or anyone who's ever written code, has typed these two words at least once in their lifetime. I don't know why it has to be "hello world." Why isn't there any variation? I also don't know what philosophy lies behind this mandatory mantra for entering the computer science world.

It doesn't feel complete if this phrase hasn't been printed in the terminal of every CS or IT student. Maybe the terminal just wants to say hi to us first… lol.

Actually, syntax like this is just to check if the compiler or environment is running or not. But somehow tonight I want to romanticize this little ritual a bit—kinda dramatic, but whatever, let it be. Hehe.

And funny enough, I'm writing this blog on a random Thursday night. Just got home from work, spacing out, not sure what to do. Half because I need entertainment... the other half because my girlfriend is mad at me, and I don't know what to do to make her stop being upset. So yeah... might as well just write.

Better than letting this insomnia go to waste.

So, I chose to finish my portfolio and simultaneously publish my first blog post here. Maybe that's the most productive way to spend a night that feels like a query that JOINs with ON 1=1—everything's mixed up, unclear, but still executes anyway.

And yeah, technically this isn't my first blog. I used to write on Blogger. I also wrote on my own site —tsukiram.com—which now functions more as a museum of artifacts from my era of learning hosting, deployment, and all that.

But somehow, tonight is different.

Tonight I want to create something with real intention. Like all my experiences, my journey, my weird and serious projects—I want to pour them all into one place.

Not just a place to put my portfolio, but maybe a place for stories or to train my writing skills.

Stories behind my projects, the process, the random reasons, the "aha" moments to the "wait, where's the error?" moments, and all the things you only get if you're a programmer who often stays up late.

Because I also want to train my writing skills... yeah, this blog will use Indonesian, sometimes English, sometimes a mix of both. Sometimes maybe I'll randomly write in C++, or Javanese, or Zimbabwean, or a language only I understand.

Anyway, this website is a combination of: professional intentions, personal enjoyment, and a little self-comfort from a girlfriend who's mad—hehe babe, I'm just kidding about the mad part, okay? :p.

And it all starts with these two little words. Hello world.

So yeah, see you in the next post—triggered by insomnia, overthinking, or my girlfriend being mad again.
